Dr. Bhushan R. Shitole is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with a special interest in adult hip and knee reconstruction and arthroscopic surgeries. Dr. Shitole has been practising in Pune since 2011. He is the Owner and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Vencer Hospital, Pimple Nilakh and Wellness Speciality Clinic, Pimple Saudagar.
He has completed his MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, MS in Orthopaedics from Dr. V. M. Government Medical College, Solapur, and MCh in Orthopaedics from the University of Dundee, UK. He also completed the Cambridge Hip & Knee Fellowship at Addenbrooke's Cambridge University Hospital, UK, where he trained in hip and knee replacement, revision surgery, and arthroscopic procedures.
He has further training in Sports Medicine & Shoulder Services at Ninewells Hospital, NHS Tayside, UK and completed a Joint Replacement Fellowship at Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai.

During his training in the UK and India, he gained experience in conventional and computer-assisted hip and knee replacement, revision surgeries, knee and hip arthroscopy, ACL and meniscal procedures, and minimally invasive shoulder arthroscopy.
Dr. Shitole combines his clinical experience with continued involvement in orthopaedic research and teaching. He has also conducted lectures, clinics and training programmes for medical students and postgraduate residents.
